Representatives of 36 York County-based organizations were recently presented with checks totaling $700,000 by Larry J. Miller, President and CEO, and Diane Baker, Vice President and Auditor of PeoplesBank. These funds represent contributions made by PeoplesBank through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. Established in 2001, the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program provides incentives to businesses and non-profit entities for the purpose of developing and funding innovative educational programs. Since the start of this program, PeoplesBank has dedicated over $3 million to help fund these exceptional programs.
