As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our services and prepare for the transition to Orrstown Bank, we will be conducting an upgrade from Friday, October 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM through Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 8:00 AM. During this time, several banking services will be temporarily unavailable or limited. We’ve outlined the key details below to help you prepare.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Upgrade Start: Friday, October 11,2024, 6:00 PM
  • Upgrade End: Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 8:00 AM
  • Orrstown Bank Online Experience Launch: Tuesday, October 22, 2024

What’s Affected?

Debit Card and ATM Access

  • Available with Limits: You can still use your debit card and access ATMs, but please note that limits may be placed on point-of-sale purchases and ATM transactions during the upgrade.
  • Plan Ahead: We recommend having alternative payment methods available throughout the weekend.

Online and Mobile Banking

  • Unavailable: From 6:00 PM on October 11 through 8:00 AM on October 15, online and mobile banking, including bill payment services, will be unavailable.
  • New Experience: On October 22, when you log in to online banking, you’ll be redirected to the new Orrstown Bank online banking experience. Your existing PeoplesBank LoginID and Password will still be valid, but you will be asked to reenter your credentials.

Branch and Phone Banking

  • Branch Closures: All PeoplesBank branches will be closed from Saturday, October 12, until Tuesday, October 15.
  • Phone Banking Unavailable: Phone banking will also be unavailable during the upgrade period.

What to Expect After the Upgrade

Continued Debit Card Usage:

You may continue to use your current PeoplesBank debit card after the upgrade. More information about your new Orrstown Bank debit card will be provided as we approach the full transition in November.

Online and Mobile Banking Update:

Starting on Tuesday, October 22, you’ll notice a refreshed look and enhanced features in your online and mobile banking experience. Be prepared to download the new Orrstown Bank mobile app and re-enter your existing LoginID and Password.

Why is this upgrade necessary?

This upgrade is essential to enhance our efficiency and prepare for the technical conversion of PeoplesBank accounts to Orrstown Bank, which will take place over Veterans Day weekend.

Will my account number change?

No, your account numbers will remain the same unless you are contacted individually.

Can I still use my current debit card?

Yes, your current PeoplesBank debit card will continue to work after the upgrade. Information on your new Orrstown Bank debit card will be shared closer to the transition in November.

How will my direct deposits and automatic payments be affected?

All direct deposits and automatic payments will continue as usual, as your account numbers will not change.

Will my account balances be updated in real-time during the upgrade?

No, account balances and transaction history will not be updated in real-time during the upgrade. Updates will be completed by 8:00 AM on Tuesday, October 15.
