We are proud to announce that Diane E. Baker, EVP, Chief Risk Officer, has been named as one of the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2022 Women of Influence honorees. This award recognizes high-achieving women who are making a positive impact through leadership, community service, and mentoring. Congratulations, Diane!

Diane E. Baker

Diane Baker has been an associate of PeoplesBank for 27 years and has held many important roles, rising from an Accountant 1 in 1994 to her current position. Baker also currently serves as Vice President, Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer of Codorus Valley Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of PeoplesBank, as well as the treasurer of the PeoplesBank Charitable Foundation.

“Diane has been a remarkable positive influence in my life, and I am proud to serve alongside her as a colleague, friend, and community leader,” says nominator Craig L. Kauffman, President and CEO of PeoplesBank.

Baker earned her degree in business administration from Franklin & Marshall College and holds a Wharton Leadership Certificate. In 2018, she graduated from the PBA School of Commercial Lending. Baker is also a certified personal accountant.

She has mentored PeoplesBank Student Bankers, Future Leaders of York participants, and has taught financial literacy to high school and college students. Her ties to the community include serving as President of the board of York City Dollars for Scholars, Inc. Her past volunteer activity includes serving on the board of the York Suburban Education Foundation, Typical Life Corporation, Leadership York, and Glenview Alliance Church.
